Suaad Mohammed Al Hammadi is working at Ministry of Presidential Affairs H.H. The President Initiatives Sheikh Khalifa Specialty Hospital (SKSH) in the United Arab Emirates. She is a graduate from the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT), B.A. Applied Science majoring in Security and Forensics. She holds the title of a Youth Ambassador to South Korea. And has the opportunity to work closely with decision makers in her country, and take part in numerous national programs.

She is the winner of the “UAE Outstanding Youth Award 2015”, awarded by H.H Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the UAE. Following the Youth Assembly Summer 2017, she started working on a project devoted to Syrian youth refugees to provide them with equality education and opportunities. She aspires to hold a major role in leading Sustainable Development in the UAE and promoting her country and its culture to the world in its finest images. In 2017 the Ministry of Youth suggested her as one of the protagonists of “Hi Dubai” tv series and from there she become also co-presenter of the program.

Tenzin Choeyang is a Tibetan born in India because her parents who are farmers, moved when very young. She grew up in a very spiritual Tibetan community. Kindness and compassion is way of living for her. His Holiness the Dalai Lama is her sacred spiritual teacher and guide.

She grew up very humble and she is happy for having started cooking at the age of 15 to help her family when school time permitted. Her mother strongly wanted to let all her kids to complete education despite poverty. She is very thankful to her mother, who was her first guide. She has been the advisor for Ancitel, the Italian Municipalities National Association, for the development of the national economy and the relationship with SWFs.

Sana Sajan is a qualified dentist, beauty queen and painter. Now the Dubai resident is using yet another of her skills to improve the lives of thalassaemia patients.
She is a woman of many talents but now Sana is using her life-long passion for painting to help the unwell. Sana has been holding painting sessions for patients at the hospital’s Thalassaemia Centre in her spare time. Here, adults and children suffering from this rare blood disorder can get advice and feedback on their own work.

There seems to be no end to the talents of this young resident of Dubai. In addition to her art and dental qualification, she also happens to be a former beauty queen – she represented Bahrain in the Miss India Worldwide pageant in 2010, winning a regional crown – and a one-time model, and she hopes to have a book of poetry published later this year.

Tala Badri is the founder and Executive Director of the Centre for Musical Arts (CMA). Born and educated in Dubai, Tala studied music at Royal Holloway, University of London. What makes her all the more special is that she is currently the only female Emirati music graduate.

Armed with a second degree in Management and Languages in 1995, Tala worked for ten years in the financial sector (Barclay’s Bank) and consumer sector (Mars) gaining experience in finance, human resources and management.

While still in the corporate sector, Tala continued to teach flute and piano regularly and was heavily involved in the performing arts community in Dubai, including being instrumental in the development of the Dubai Community Theatre and Arts Centre.

In 2005, Tala established The Centre for Musical Arts, a stepping stone towards her hope of setting up a fully functional music school in Dubai. The vision was and remains today to develop and enhance the existing musical community initially in Dubai, but more importantly to make the musical experience available to the wider audience through its teaching programmes, concerts, recitals and workshops.

She is also an advocate to empower families who has an individual with Autism by conducting free workshops in Arabic and English for parents as well as training parents at their homes. Sharifa served as Master of Ceremonies at the Crown Prince Court discussion about Autism with international speaker, Thorkil Sonne. Sharifa earned her fellowship from Sheikha Shamsa Bint Mohammad bin Zayed Early Childhood Development in collaboration with Yale University.

Samia Naser Yateem is a 27 years old Emirati who pursued her dream in studying her Bachelors of Science in Criminal and Investigative Studies in London, and continued her higher education in Masters of Science in Crime Science.

For her final project dissertation in BSc her reasearch was about “DNA at the scene of the crime”. In her MSc final project she used the GIS software “Study of the journey to crime in London boroughs, using crime theories to analyze homicide by spatial analysis”.

Samia is the first emarati who studied crime science, the ministry of higher education, shorik, awarded her as an Ambassador for crime science to help students.

Samia Yateem currently live in Abu Dhabi and she is ready to put her knowledge to practice for her beloved country.

Alya Al Ansari

Designer

Alya Al Ansari is a young Emarati Designer based in Sharjah. She earned her Bachelor Degree in Art and Creative Enterprises from Zayed University. She is a firm believer in creating a solid statement, placing components in relation to her cultural distinctiveness is what she aims for.

She designed both Hi Dubai’s and Hi Emirates logos.
The logo symbolizes the profile of a woman and the line which is shaping the logo is the word “woman” in Arabic.

Her vital enthusiasm has driven her to be part of so many project, internship and exhibitions.

She has been part of The U.A.E. - Italy Intercultural Project by Fondazione Antonio Genovesi Salerno, SDOA.

She is currently one of Sheikha Salama bint Hamdan Foundation fellow for emerging artist. She is working at the Sharjah Tourism and Development Authority as a designer.
